Il Tramezzino (Beverly Hills)

Il Tramezzino
454 N Canon Dr
Beverly Hills, CA 90210
(310) 273-0501

Restaurant Row.

Chicken Special

Chicken Special: Chicken panini 加了sundried tomatoes, avocado, pesto, 吃了之後我覺得她應該就是menu上的 “Grilled Breast of Chicken”.
Il Tram- Chicken Special

Fruit Salad:
Il Tram- Fruit Salad

Lunch Special:
Il Tram- Lunch Special

Chicken Special!

The Farm of Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills)

The Farm of Beverly Hills- dining area

The Farm of Beverly Hills走鄉村風
(Beverly Drive, The Grove, and LA Live)

Eggs Benedict- Poached Eggs served over Sautéed Spinach & Honey Roasted Ham on Toasted Farm Brioche with Hollandaise Sauce: 他們的Eggs Benedict 也加上菠菜 (通常是Florentine才是配菠菜), 多了這一層青菜讓這個Benedict不那麼膩, good idea.

The Farm of Beverly Hills- Eggs Benedict

Chicken Salad Sandwich- Chopped Chicken, Bell Peppers, Mayo, Onions & Celery with Fresh Tomatoes, Avocado, Baby Greens & Country Mayo on Harvest BreadIceberg:
The Farm of Beverly Hills- Chicken Salad Sandwich

Tokyo Table (Beverly Hills)

Tokyo Table

Beverly Hills, CA 90211

Hammer is going to NY for training and moving to HK afterwards. We had a farewell dinner @ Tokyo Table in Beverly Hills.

In terms of the atmosphere, it’s nice and upscale, but at the same time it’s not so uptight and maintain a kind of casual Japanese restaurant feel. Rather than a Japanese restaurant, it’s more like a fusion restaurant. They serve J-style Eel bowl in Korean style stone pot, and they have sweet butter toast on the dessert menu.(但那真的就是甜版的棺材板!!!)

Jack n’ Jill’s (Beverly Hills)

Jack n’ Jill’s

342 N Beverly Drive
Beverly Hills, CA 90210
(310) 247-4500

I visited Jack n’ Jill’s at Beverly Hills yesterday. Since it’s on Beverly Drive, it’s a perfect spot for people and car watching.  I guess Beverly Hills area has the highest density of trendy-dressed people and luxury cars. The service wasn’t slow, and the wait wasn’t bad either. But we spent about 2.5 hours there just chatting and enjoying watching people and nice cars.
In terms of food, I thought it was good in general. I liked the "Hi-Protein Scramble" I had a lot. However, I did find their fruits were SUGARY. I didn’t expect that would happen in any upscale/premium restaurant. I’m sure I’ll order something else as the side next time.
Another thing I’d like to share, the portion of their French Toast is HUGE. Even the guests at the next table were laughing when the waiter served the French Toasts. It was good. But it’s better to share the GIANT French Toast and ask your friends to order something different. You wouldn’t want to finish the whole thing by yourself.

Hi-Protein Scramble
(Egg whites, chicken breast, turkey bacon, spinach, tomato, onion, Jack, Cheddar and Mozzarella) $12.95

Sunset (Asparagus, mushroom, spinach, onions, tomato, herbs and jack cheese) $10.95

Vanilla French Toast (Thick Egg Bread dipped in eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and cream. With whipped butter and syrup.) $8.5

Cafe Flore (Beverly Hills) No. 1 of Best Breakfast 2006 & 2007 by Citysearch

214 S Robertson Blvd
Beverly Hills, CA 90211
(310) 659-6877

It is a French cafe. It is ranked #1 by City Search in both Breakfast and Brunch categories. The place is nice and charming. However, the portions of its food are a little bit too small. (I know… It’s a French restaurant). We actually went somewhere else to eat again right after our brunch at Cafe Flore.

Unlike other brunch places I’ve been, it doesn’t aim to content its guests’ appetite but their spiritual enjoyment. However, due to the space is limited, it gets noisy easily when it’s busy.

As to the food, the Omelette St. Germain I had was okay, maybe a little too bland for me.

Omelette St. Germain:  Goat cheese, Kalamata olives, tomato, & fresh basil. $8.95

Tartines : Norvegienne (Salmon):  Smoked salmon with a sour cream, chive, and dill sauce.  $10.95
